Welcome

To IrukaJudokwai

Iruka Judokwai was started in 1995 at Field Junior School Elfrida Road, Watford by Carol and Barry Walker, after they moved from the Watford YMCA after the judo club there became too large for the venue.

The ethos of the club is to promote judo, and make it enjoyable for all who take part. The club ensures that all who participate are taught all the right aspects of Judo. Judo gives the person, confidence, respect for self and others and discipline and control, all the qualities for life. Judo can be a life time sport in which one never stops learning.

With this knowledge in mind, whether it’s to have fun and learn judo, or to be a champion, we welcome all new members. The club is a registered member of the British Judo Association.

To find out more, please take time to look through our site or, if you prefer contact Carol or Barry at carolW25@outlook.comor call on 07970773801.
